About Our Staff

A Bright Horizons teacher is a nurturer as well as an educator, someone who encourages learning through exploration, and who understands the balance between what a child needs to feel safe and what she requires to reach her potential. Your child’s teacher is your partner. At Bright Horizons, families and teachers work together --celebrating successes, navigating challenges, and communicating daily about your child’s achievements and goals.

    In Education Since: 2011

I love working for Bright Horizons because: My daughter became a student in the two’s program at Bright Horizons in 2011. As a former teacher, I am amazed by the education and social experience she has received since she has been there. As a parent, I am thrilled to be part of such an active and inclusive community, and as an employee, it feels wonderful to give back to an organization that has meant so much to our family, as well as assist families with the very important decision in choosing a child care and early education program. I can be reached at (415) 937-4949 or shannon.nicholson@brighthorizons.com. I look forward to speaking with you!
