The Two's Program Experiments with Mixing Colors!

The Growing World of Toddlers Program uses hands-on exploration and social interaction in safe, engaging surroundings to help your two year old learn about his or her expanding world!
The Two's Program has been learning all about colors these past few weeks!  As a culminating activity, they decided to see what new colors they could make by mixing different colors together using backing soda and vinegar!  The children used pipettes to squirt colored vinegar onto baking soda.  They then observerd as new colors emerged as the bubles subsided!
The children explored our Science Rocks curriculum while focusing on active questioning.  When exploring materials, they formulated "why, what, and how?" questions.  They also learned active questioning by describing and discussing their observations and experiences with teachers while creatively experiementing with paints and other materials.

    Well Aware and Staying Healthy

Our center environment offers children a healthy and safe place to develop and learn. Through our Well Aware program and our Staying Healthy procedures, we set high expectations for creating healthy environments and also foster positive attitudes within children towards healthy living, physical activity, and nutrition.

We’re proud to provide programs parents can feel good about, and to be recognized as a model for other early education programs by the Partnership for a Healthier America and First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign.
