Princess
Dear Princess, You are a joy and a sweetheart to our Henry. We're so glad you're his teacher, with your kind, nurturing nature. You really understand him. Thanks so much for your enthusiasm and loving care.
Nyilah
Dear Nyilah (Ms. Ny), You're just the best! Our Henry loves you so much. It's a real treat to see him run into your arms in the morning. You do such a wonderful job. Thank you so much for your fun personality and great care!
Lamia
Lamia! We love coming in and seeing your happy face in the morning. And you can even coax a "good morning" out of our Henry when he comes in... not always in the best mood... You're a real sweetheart. But watch out for those 10 feet of snow!!!
Princess
Ms. Princess has been a wonderful classroom teacher for Max. It is obvious that she takes such great care of him. We are truly grateful for all she does!
Ne
Ms. Ne is so warm and sweet to Max. We notice, and appreciate, the lengths she goes to ensure that every start of the school day is a happy one for Max. He's sometimes a little bit shy in the big classroom. Ms. Ne notices, without having to be told, and does all of the right things -- every time -- to get Max involved and excited. We're so grateful.
Keyuanna
Ms. Keyuanna was Max's very first teacher at Covington Kids, back in the infant room. Suffice it to say, we were absolutely thrilled, beyond belief, to learn that she was going to be Max's teacher in the 2s room! She has made such a positive, powerful impact on Max, and on our entire family. We will go through life indebted to Ms. Keyuanna for all that she has done for us.
Linda
Ms. Linda was Max's teacher in the toddler room, for about a year. We were constantly amazed at her even keel, steady demeanor -- which is just what Max (and his parents) needed. She showed such tremendous empathy for Max, and for us. Ms. Linda will always hold a very, very special place in the hearts of our family. We could never thank her enough.
Gail
Ms. Gail was an excellent teacher for Max in the toddler classroom. Her warmth and happiness made his day! Ours too. She is a tremendous asset to the school.
Beverly
Ms. Beverly was a wonderful teacher for Max. It was always so obvious to us how much she cared for the kids and enjoyed interacting with them. Max was fortunate to have had her as a teacher!
Keyuanna
Dear Keyuanna, Thank you so much for taking such sweet care of Henry! You were there from the first day with him--remember that blue blanket? I remember seeing you wrap him up in that blankie when he needed a little extra comfort. And now he just runs into the gross motor room in the morning, happy as can be. You're great. Thanks so much!
sheriann
Dear Sheriann, Thank you so much for all you've done for us! You were there to show us around and answer all our questions when we were moving Henry from home care with my Mom to Covington Kids! It was a big step for us, and you made it so easy. Thanks again for all the attention and care you give to the children's development. Henry's simply blossomed over these last few months!
Katie H.
Katie!! You're just wonderful and we'll really miss you when you're in Baltimore. We know that'll be so great for you. But you have such a way with the little dudes--that will be impossible to replace. And you're super-awesome as a person (as everyone who comes from a big family is)!! All the best to you!
Yvonne
Our family cannot say enough great things about the experience we have had in only 6 weeks at Covington Kids. We want to recognize Miss Yvonne, who has taught our daughter so much, gave her new experiences, and shown her care and compassion. We are lucky to have Yvonne as one of Sarah's teachers.
Debra Ashe
I miss you Beba! xoxo, Anna B.
Sheriann, Courtney & Katie
The Directors at Covington Kids have helped make Sarah's first six weeks spectacular. The Directors really care about both the kids and their parents. There is never a question too small and they always take the time to explain things to us or simply share stories. Very professional staff!
Lamia
Never underestimate the power of a big smile and kind greetings-that is what Sarah gets each morning from Lamia. Her kindness and willingness to take the time to tell us stories about Sarah is what is making our family's experience so special. Lamia has truly helped Sarah transition smoothls
Nikia
Thank you Ms. Nikia! You've made our transition to daycare a very smooth one. Ella is all smiles these days, and loves spending the day with you all. Thank you for taking such good care of her.
Nyilah
Nyilah (Ms. Ny) is an exceptional and warm teacher. Our little man bonded with Ms. Ny immediately, and she goes out of her way to make him feel comfortable and happy at school. We feel SO lucky to have had wonderful Ms. Ny as a teacher! Thank you for all that you do!!
Mr. Olu
We feel so lucky to have Mr. Olu as a preschool teacher! He is so warm and caring with the kids. Mr. Olu also has this amazing calming presence, and the kids clearly adore him. Thank you for all that you do!
Cherry
Ms. Cherry is new to the center and she is just fantastic with the kids! We are so happy to have her as a new teacher and the kids clearly love all of the cool activities that they work on in her class. She has a caring and calm presence that works so beautifully with this wild age group :) Thank you for all that you do!!
Tiara
Ms. Tiara is new to the classroom and we feel so lucky to have her in our son's class. Ms. Tiara is so warm and friendly (always smiling!), and I always see her engaging happily with all of the kids! Thank you for all that you do!
Yvonne
Ms. Yvonne isn't our son's teacher, but she was so helpful and wonderful in getting us through a tough drop-off stage with our son. Ms. Yvonne went out of her way to help and calm our little one and we are SO grateful! Thank you so much!
Courtney, Katie, & Sheriann
The directors at Covington Kids have been so tremendously engaged, professional, communicative, and caring with our family. Courtney, Katie, & Sheriann are *always* there to answer questions or talk (at length!) about any thoughts or concerns about our little one. It is so evident how much they are about the kids and families at the center. Thank you for everything!
Eunice
We appreciate all that Ms. Eunice did for Nina in the toddler room. From day one, Nina adored Eunice and her gentle manner. Eunice did a wonderful job guiding Nina in the transition to walking. Nina is in a new room, but it is a true pleasure to watch Eunice and Nina interact in the hallway.
Morris
We were thrilled that Mr. Morris was one of Nina's teachers in the toddler room. Throughout the year, he exhibited a real commitment to Nina's development. We'll never forget the morning Morris told us that the day before he had played some pop music for Nina and that she had danced away to it!
Gail
There is no one more upbeat than Ms. Gail. Although Nina was in a different room, Nina spent hours with Gail when the toddler rooms combined toward the end of the day, and Gail did a stellar job of keeping the children entertained and making them feel loved. Nina has many fond memories of reading/singing "Down by the Station" with Gail.
Nyilah
Nina was a bit nervous when she transitioned into the 2s room and Nay provided a sense of security to Nina at this crucial time. We truly appreciate all that Nay has done for Nina. Nay has exhibited so much warmth toward Nina and the other children. One of the images that will stick in our minds is of Nay, reading to a group of children, with one on her lap, and the others leaned in, listening intently.
Keyuanna
Nina first enjoyed Ms. Keyuanna's spirit in the infant room, almost two years ago. We were thrilled when the two were reunited in the 2s room. Keyuonna has done so much for Nina's sense of self, her curiosity, and her love of the world. We can't thank Keyuanna enough for all that she has done to help Nina transition into a young girl and for making the 2s room into an exciting, art-filled place.
Princess
Ms. Princess is an amazing asset to Covington Kids, and we feel so fortunate that Nina is in Princess's care in the 2s room. We truly appreciate the steadiness that Princess has brought to Nina's life and the way that Princess has helped make the room such a dynamic learning environment. We also appreciate the time Princess spent caring for Nina two years ago in the infant room in the mornings before the classes would split.
Barbara
Ms. Barbara cares for the infants with a seemingly endless amount of affection and brings great experience and knowledge in teaching all the children no matter what room they're in. We love seeing Barbara every morning and every night -- thanks for all the smiles and the occasional treats for Nina!
