At the next traffic light turn right onto Silverside Road. Get into left lane passing Chuck E. Cheese’s and the Dollar Tree store on the left. At the next light turn left into the Concord Plaza office park. After entering Concord Plaza turn left after passing the security guard station. Bright Horizons is in the Clayton building, the second building to the left of the guard station.

Washing Seashells

You Will Need:

Tub of sudsy water scrub brush or old tooth brush and a towel sponge

Directions:

Place the tub of sudsy water where your child can reach it easily and water will not be a problem. Give your child a scrub brush and a basket of seashells. “I need your help cleaning these shells so we can put them on our shelves to look decorative. Look at all the different sizes, colors and types. I wonder what kind of animal made this shell? Does it change color when you clean it?” Www.seashells.org is a good internet site to research names and types of shells. You may want to chart the sizes, types or colors of shells. You will need paper and a pen or marker for this.

Tip:

Your child will probably get wet and splash water. Wear an apron or play clothes.
