    School Age

Guiding children to experience their world and pursue their interests

Our school-age program recognizes the growing physical, intellectual, and social competence of older children. Eager to explore the social world and discover how the adult world works, school-age children thrive on challenges, friendships, clubs, and responsibility. They want to make things, build things, act out new dramatic possibilities, explore computers and books, construct imaginary worlds and most important, not be treated like "little kids." Read More

What Parents are Saying

Our greatest advocates are also our closest friends.

"Thank you all for what you do with my child. I am amazed at how much he has developed and learned. Being a working mom is such a hard thing sometimes but it makes it so much easier when you know your child is being loved and nurtured by truly caring individuals. Thanks for being his mom away from mom."

World at their Fingertips

The building blocks to a balanced education.

"When I go into one of our centers, I can immediately tell that learning is happening. You see children in small groups engaged in activities that have been thoughtfully prepared."

Exploring and Rolling Oranges

You Will Need:

Oranges

Directions:

Look at the orange together. “How does the orange smell? It’s round. What can we do with it? Try rolling it to me. Let’s open it up and see what is inside. It’s juicy, isn’t it?”

Tip:

Try cutting a hole in the top and squeezing the juice out before you open it up.

Our certified lifeguards & swim instructors teach Group, Small Group, and Private lessons twice a week for four weeks. Cost will vary depending on the size of the group you choose. This program is offered various times throughout the week. Swimming lessons run from March through October.  Please call the center for more details and times.
