The NS Children's Center is located on site in the NS building in Midtown Atlanta. The NS Building is between 14th and 15th Streets on Peachtree Street, across from Colony Square and next door to the High Museum/Woodruff Arts Center. Parking is behind the building. Follow the Day Care Parking signs. Walk up the sidewalk and you will see NS Children's Center through the door in the lobby back entrance.

Placemats

You Will Need:

11 x 14 paper, felt tip pens or paint, photographs optional

Directions:

Children draw, paint or make a collage on the paper. They might want to add photographs. Write each family members' name on his/her placemat. Take the creations to be laminated at a local office store or cover with clear contact paper and use them as placemats.

Tip:

Have each family member make a placemat. Make a few extras for guests. If you write sentiments that a child dictates, the placemats are wonderful gifts. Footprints work well for babies.
