You Will Need:
2 or more squares of carpet remnant
Lay two pieces of carpet a few inches apart on the floor. Take turns jumping from one carpet square to the other. Keep increasing the distance between the squares. With older children measure the distance between the carpet squares and chart it.
This activity provides a wonderful opportunity for imaginative play. The distance between the two carpet squares can be a river or any other liquid that a child might not want to fall into.
