    Outdoor Learning Environments

Today's children and families often have limited opportunities to connect with the natural environment. Families are eating more processed, high-calorie foods due to their busy schedules which makes a family sit-down meal a rare event. These changes have led to an epidemic of childhood obesity, which presents serious health threats for children. The majority of children in childcare are there for an extended periods of time, eight to ten hours per day. Naturalizing outdoor learning environments means bringing back trees, shrubs, perennial plants, vines, and edible plants for children's enjoyment and healthy development.
Our enhanced playground is coming soon. Our enhancements include a mud kitchen, a natural xylophone, and many other fun new activities for the children. Right outside of our playground is the garden where the children are helping and learning about growing plants.

    Well Aware and Staying Healthy

Our center environment offers children a healthy and safe place to develop and learn.
