The Bright Horizons Child Care and Early Education Center is located in the heart of Downtown Louisville. The center is located on 4th St. between the blocks of Broadway and Chestnut near the Brown Hotel and Palace Theatre. Parking for the center is available by taking Broadway and turning right onto 5th St.. You will turn right into the 5th St. parking garage located at the end of the long red brick building. The parking garage sits back off of the street. You will pull into the parking garage and take a right staying on the main level. The parking at that point goes back in an L shape and there are spaces marked for short term parking for the center. The entrance to the center is to your left on the sidewalk before you exit the parking garage.

Where is Mr. Lion?

You Will Need:

A stuffed toy

Directions:

Lie on the bed or floor with your baby. Show your baby a stuffed toy and introduce the toy by saying its name. “Oh, here is Mr. Lion.” Hold Mr. Lion in your hand and have him talk with your baby. Then hide the toy and to the tune of, Where is Thumbkin, sing, Where is Mr. Lion, where is Mr. Lion? Make animal reappear and sing, “Here I am, here I am” Sing, “How are you today sir? Very well I thank you, Now run away, run away.” (Repeat a few times)

Tip:

This is wonderful activity to incorporate into part of a routine.
