From Route 2 East - Take the Pleasant Street exit 55 toward Waltham/Lexington. Take the ramp toward Concord Ave./Waltham. Turn slight right onto Pleasant St. Turn right onto Concord Ave. Turn Right onto Waltham Street just past April Lane. 903 Waltham Street is on left (if you reach Piper Road you've gone about .1 miles too far). From 95 North take the Trapelo Road exit (28A) toward Belmont. Turn right onto Trapelo Road (you will see Waltham Crossings directly in front of you). Turn left onto Smith Street at the first set of lights. Make a right onto Concord Avenue. The center will be on your left after the Cotting School. If you reach the set of lights you have passed us.

Our Kindergarten Program

Comprehensive curriculum preparing children for school success

Our center develops expectations and practices in concert with our state curriculum standards so children make an easy transition into the local school system. At the same time, our curriculum builds off the child’s knowledge base and skills, learning style, and interests. There is a clear emphasis on the development of strong language, math, and science skills. Important “school skills” of listening carefully, following through on a sequence of tasks, and working cooperatively are reinforced.

Home-Made Applesauce

You Will Need:

apples, sugar, cinnamon, water, potato masher

Directions:

Cut apple slices into smaller cubes, measure and add sugar, cinnamon and water. Heat until apples are tender. Mash with potato masher until mixture reaches a creamy consistency.

Tip:

child can use plastic knife to cut while adult may use a sharper one, try identifying the number on the measuring utensils.
