    Pre-Kindergarten

Ensuring children are prepared to succeed in school and life.

Our READY for SCHOOL Pre-Kindergarten program helps children advance skills in core pre-academic areas such as literacy, math, and science, as well as in other essential areas such as art, social and emotional well-being, and health and wellness. Our whole-child approach ensures that children are exposed to a diverse array of learning activities and that they thrive in all areas of development, becoming creative thinkers, complex problem solvers, empathetic collaborators, curious investigators, and astute decision makers.

What Parents are Saying

Our greatest advocates are also our closest friends.

"We could not be happier with the quality care that these teachers provide to our daughter. She is so happy when we drop her off and pick her up - we know she loves spending time with them. It makes being a working parent a lot easier to know that such she is in such great, caring hands!"

World at their Fingertips

The building blocks to a balanced education.

"When I go into one of our centers, I can immediately tell that learning is happening. You see children in small groups engaged in activities that have been thoughtfully prepared."

- Dave Lissy, Bright Horizons CEO

Letters and Notes

You Will Need:

Paper, pens or a computer and printer; a clipboard or lap desk for writing in the car, envelopes

Directions:

Join with your child to send letters and notes to friends and relatives. Take the lead from your child; you might write the words that your child dictates. Or he might copy or write the words, or he might draw pictures and you can write his descriptions of the pictures beneath. If you have a computer, sit with your child and take turns keyboarding.

Tip:

Have older children address and stamp their own envelopes. Writing to a special person is a delightful ritual.

Get involved in our Enrichment Activities

Because knowledge is more than just the ABC's.

  • School's Out - When school is closed, join us for our SCHOOL'S OUT program. We have a school age teacher who will be on site during the following days/weeks to provide a fun and educational program for your child in a safe, clean environment. Crafts, games and sports are just a few of the activities that are available.
  • Movement Program - An optional weekly movement program is offered through Jump-N-Fun. Program highlights include a variety of aerobic endurance activities such as skipping, hopping, jumping, wiggling, marching and running. Experienced, enthusiastic teachers use fun music and a variety of equipment.
  • Soccer - Soccer is offered weekly through Soccer Shots, a national soccer program designed for children 3-8 years old to introduce them to the game of soccer. Soccer Shots not only teaches children the basic skills of soccer but places a high emphasis on character development as well.
  • Field Trips - Periodic field trips are planned for the older preschool children and children in our summer camp program.
