Welcome to the Detroit Diesel-UAW Child Development Center. At the Center we implement an educational program that is based on the developmental work of Maria Montessori. The program allows children to explore and master life skills in an environment that is rich with unique educational materials and a wide variety of hands-on experiences. We believe that by providing the right environment, one that is stimulating and nurturing, a foundation is laid for a lifelong interest in learning. At the Detroit Diesel-UAW Child Development Center, we employ only highly qualified, experienced staff to implement our program. Our staff receive on-going training focused on curriculum, child development and parent interaction.
