What Parents are Saying

Our greatest advocates are also our closest friends.

"Thank you Nikki for all you do! I am happy to see Barrett developing a relationship with you, and I loved seeing him walk up to you the other day and hug you for no reason!"

World at their Fingertips

The story behind Bright Horizons emergent curriculum

What happens when a toddler tells his teacher he loves cheetahs? Or a pre-kindergarten student asks what dinosaurs eat? At Bright Horizons®, those questions spark learning opportunities and lessons in math, reading, science, art…and more. Watch the video to see teachers and parents talk about this very unique approach toward curriculum, and how a child's very own interests become the launch pad for curiosity... and a lifetime love of learning.

The Finger Game: New!

You Will Need:

Your baby or young child

With your baby lying on his back or sitting up, take his finger and use it to touch the appropriate body part and sing, “Put your finger on your nose, on your nose; Put your finger on your nose, on your nose; Put your finger on your nose, that's where the north wind blows; Put your finger on your nose, on your nose. Put your finger on your chin, on your chin; Put your finger on your chin, on your chin; Put your finger on your chin, that's below where the soup slips in; Put your finger on your chin, on your chin. Put your finger on your ear, on your ear; Put your finger on your ear, on your ear; Put your finger on your ear, that's where we hear; Put your finger on your ear, on your ear.”

Make up additional verses and then end the game with, “Put your finger on your lap, on your lap; Put your finger on your lap, on your lap; Put your finger on your lap, and let’s go clap, clap, clap; Put your finger on your lap, on your lap, clap, clap.”

As your baby matures, encourage him to point to his own body parts.
