First you open up your pumpkin and allow your children to explore the insides of the pumpkin. This is a fun way to bond every year with your child. After they are finished playing with the pumpkin you have them seperate all the seeds so you can make a tasty treat with them Pumpkin Seeds Step 1:Separate the seeds of a freshly carved pumpkin from the pumpkin guts. Rinse the seeds just until they are free of any pumpkin gut matter. Step 2:Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Step 3:Put the seeds on a paper towel and let them dry for a few minutes. Step 4:Spray a baking sheet with butter-flavored nonstick cooking spray. Put the seeds on the baking sheet in a single layer, turning to coat lightly with the spray or the oil. Sprinkle the seeds lightly with salt or cinnamon, if desired. Step 5:Put the baking sheet in the oven.
