We are located on Dorthea Dix campus near the intersection of Lake Wheeler Road and South Street. Take the Lake Wheeler road exit from I-40 heading towards downtown. You will pass the Farmers Market/Centennial Parkway on the left. Once you cross over the railroad tracks you will notice a fence on the left, that begins the Dix campus area. You will turn left onto Umstead Drive. Make the next left at the red NCSU Child Care sign. We have an off white building with light green roof.

Bright Horizons Classroom of the Week

November 28, 2012

Fall Toddler Activity

The Two's Classroom at Bright Horizons NCSU were noticing the changing trees and weather outside. The class went on a nature walk and discussed how the color of leaves change. They also observed tree bark and made tree rubbings with white paper and crayons. They collected different leaves to bring inside to use for an art project. As a circle time activity, the students painted swatches to create their own fall tree on the floor. They discussed parts of the tree and the job of each. Fall is definitely in the air at Bright Horizons NCSU!
