In these pictures our preschoolers are using our Handwriting Without tears program in the writing center. By using the stamp and screen magnets, roll a dough, and chalkboards they are using their fine motor skills to strengthen their hands and to learn how to form letters.
In our Movement Matters room we use our large and small motor skills to exercise our bodies by playing sports, doing yoga, and playing different musical instruments.
In our Everday Math program we teach children how to measure using objects around the classroom. Here the children are using cubes to measure the fish on their papers. After they find out how many cubes they used, they then fished for the numbers in the bucket using our fishing poles made out of magnets.
