Welcome to Bright Horizons at New York Presbyterian Uptown

A great place to learn, discover and grow!

At Bright Horizons at New York Presbyterian we recognize the importance of strong beginnings in each child's development.  We offer early childhood education and quality child care for children ranging from 6 weeks to 6 years with full-time and part-time options in addition to Back-Up Care.   Bright Horizons at New York Presbyterian is designed to offer children an experience that will allow them to explore their World by using our curriculum, “The World at Their Fingertips”. This curriculum offers a developmentally appropriate environment where children can learn, laugh and grow as lifelong learners. Our age appropriate classrooms encourage exploration and investigation, while developing children's sense of self.  We work collectively with families, teachers and our children to provide a meaningful educational experience that reflect the children’s interests. Get involved in our Enrichment Activities

Because knowledge is more than just the ABC's.

Our center provides the following **Free** Enrichment Programs:

Well Aware: The children will dive into a world of fun as we they learn a fun and healthy twist for creating snacks. Children at NYP will learn the safety precautions for preparing fun and nutritious snacks. During our cooking lessons, elements of Math Counts and Science Rocks are incorporated to create an educational experience with food!

Movement Matters: All kinds of active play are very important for young children’s development. Young children are strengthening their muscles and improving their coordination as they engage in physical activity such as running, jumping, climbing and dancing. Children at NYP have access to not one but two outdoor areas that encourage gross motor activities and exploration.

In addition, bi-weekly, the children engage in Education in Dance, which is a program that incorporates daily life skills with dance.
