We hosted our first Bright Horizons Science Fair. We showcased a variety of science experiments that the children engage in everyday. Families and children were welcome to explore each station, receiving a stamp on their science passport as they moved through the fair.
Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad was this year's Read for the Record title. Millions of people of all ages, including the children and faculty of Bright Horizons Merck West Point, read this book on October 4, 2012 to help raise awareness and funds for early literacy initiatives. On Saturday, June 9th Bright Horizons at Merck West Point and Merck Upper Gwynedd, joined together to put on Transportation Exploration for children and families to enjoy. The event raised $1700. for the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children! The three hour event was full of different types of vehicles for children to explore, food vendors for families to enjoy, and moonbounce activities.

The WPCLC celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with a variety of fun center activities! Classrooms enjoyed "green eggs and ham", read a variety of classic Dr. Seuss storybooks, made fun hats and wore silly clothes, and decorated cupcakes! It was silly, fun filled day at the center.
