Story Surprise

You Will Need:

A familiar story and paper and marker or pen

Directions:

Read the story half way through. Then you and your child make up a different ending to the story. Write it down and ask your child to illustrate it.

Tip:

Young children may have trouble getting started with a new ending. They often like the predictability of familiar stories. Give them an example, and then enlist more ideas.
