From Dowtown Pitsburgh take the Smithfield Street Bridge and turn left onto East Carson Street. Drive on East Carson Street to 26th street. On the corner of 26th Street there will be a PNC Bank. You will want to turn left at this light. When you get to the first stop sign make a right. You will see a parking garage called Ladle Parking on your right. The entrance to our center is directly behind that parking garage. From the north merge onto 1-279 South. Take exit 2A to merge onto I-579 S toward Veterans Bridge. Follow 1-579 South. Next take the exit toward 1-376 East (Oakland/Monroeville). After the exit drive a half a mile and merge onto Boulevard of the Allies. Then drive 2 miles on Boulevard of the Allies until you reach Bates Street. At Bates Street turn right. Next turn left onto 2nd Ave. Then take the first right onto Hot Metal Bridge. At the end of the bridge turn right onto East Carson Street. Our center will be located on your right about two blocks down.

About Our Staff

A Bright Horizons teacher is a nurturer as well as an educator, someone who encourages learning through exploration, and who understands the balance between what a child needs to feel safe and what she requires to reach her potential. Your child’s teacher is your partner. At Bright Horizons, families and teachers work together --celebrating successes, navigating challenges, and communicating daily about your child’s achievements and goals.
