Turn “R” onto John Carlyle Street @ the traffic circle, take the 2nd “exit” to continue on John Carlyle Turn “R” into the E. Parking Garage After parking; elevator to the P3 level. Exit the glass double-doors and walk across the bridge (playground to your “R”) @ the end of the bridge, turn “R” and proceed to the Jeff Bldg, located @ 500 Dulany St. From DC: George Washington Pkwy S. towards Reagan Airport. The pkwy turns into Washington St. Turn “R”onto Duke St. Turn “L” onto John Carlyle St. @ the traffic circle, take the 2nd“exit” to continue on John Carlyle. Turn “R” into the E. Parking Garage. After parking, elevator to the P3 level. Exit through the glass double-doors & walk across the bridge playground to your “R” end of the bridge, turn “R” & proceed to the Jeff Bldg, 500 Dulany St.

A great place to learn, discover and grow!

Welcome to Innovation Station Child Development Center! At this Bright Horizons Family Solutions center, we recognize how important new beginnings are in each child's development and to each family. Our mission is to provide a caring and nurturing environment where your child can learn and develop. Our center is located in the Jefferson building on the Carlyle Campus of the United States Patent and Trademark Offices. Innovation Station serves families who work for USPTO, as well as families from other branches of the federal government and the surrounding community. Innovation Station opened in April 2004. We have the capacity for 138 children ages six weeks to five years old. In each classroom, from infant to preschool, our highly skilled teachers provide the environment and experiences from which children learn. Get involved in our Enrichment Activities

Because knowledge is more than just the ABC's.

Funtastic Fitness - every other Wednesday. An exciting health and exercise program for children enrolled in our toddler through preschool programs. This program is paid for by the Board of Directors for the child care center.  

Fundamentals of Music - every other Wednesday. Age appropriate music classes for children enrolled in our infant through preschool programs. The program is designed to deveop the 'whole' child through interactive songs, games, and creative movement.  This program is paid for by the Board of Directors for the child care center. 

Sign Language - every Thursday. Children learn traditional American Sign Language while playing and interacting.  Activities include gross motor play, large and small group interactions, reading, signing, and much more! This program is optional for families who have children over 6-months of age, and costs an additional $35/month/child. 

Spanish - every Tuesday. Spanish classes are offered weekly to children enrolled in our toddler through preschool programs.
