Our Toddler Program

A place for growing curious, happy and confident toddlers

Our space is built for active and inquisitive toddlers with environments made up of well-planned learning centers that allow for physical activity, child choice and self-directed play, small groups, and supportive teaching. There are reading nooks, sensory tables, great books, pretend play areas, baskets filled with dress-up and exploratory materials, musical instruments, and outdoor places to explore.

Learning experiences are planned to promote each toddler’s growing independence, to enhance social skills, and to build the confidence needed to reach their individual potential and prepare for preschool and beyond.

What Parents are Saying

Our greatest advocates are also our closest friends.

"We are very grateful to have our daughter in Elvira's care! She is calm and patient with the kids and is caring and sensitive to the feelings of the parents. She knows toddlers like no one else, fills their days with wonderful activities, and spends special time with each child. Thanks Elvira!"

Bedtime Ritual

You Will Need:

An adult and a child

Directions:

Create a wind down bedtime routine, a schedule of activities that will be the same every night, and will become a ritual. For example, your child gets to pick out two books which you read to her, then you hug her and her teddy bear, then you say goodnight and turn out the lights. Come up with a routine unique to your family and your child.

Tip:

The earlier you start a bedtime ritual the more effective it will become. If possible, rituals are something you do every night. Try to create rituals that are manageable in all settings and not too elaborate.
