Every year we host a Teddy Bear Picnic during the Week of the Young Child. Children bring their teddy bears and parents and children all have a picnic lunch together. We read Have You Filled A Bucket Today? and talked about all they ways that we can help build each other up and how being positive makes everyone feel better. Many classrooms re-read this book to families during the picnic event.
We had a great turn out for our Preschool & Pre-K showcase event. Parents and children spent time together in the classrooms doing activities, and talking with teachers and other families. We served dinner and a great time was had by all. Thank you to everyone who came!
Every year we serve a fall feast to all the families in the center where they get to come have lunch with their children. We serve turkey with all the fixin's. It's every body's favorite event every year. This year we fed 197 adults, plus nearly 200 children, plus all our staff. Thank you to our cooks, Susan and Cass, for putting on this incredible event!

Charlotte, our Assistant Director, gave a short presentation about just how curriculum works at Bright Horizons, then the nearly 100 families present enjoyed a dinner served family meal style with their children in the classrooms. The evening also included meeting new teachers and exploring classrooms. Thank you to everyone who participated! And thank you to Susan and Cass for your wonderful cooking!
