Get Directions From...
Our address is 1010 Wisconsin Ave NW Suite 110, Washington, DC 20007. We are located on the corner of Water Street (K Street) and Wisconsin Avenue NW. The entrance is off of Water Street.

Parking is available in the Colonial Parking garage (enter off of Water Street). Take a left when you pull into the garage and there are designated spots available on the right. Take the elevator up to level 1 and you can’t miss us!

If you take the metro--- take the orange or the blue line to Foggy Bottom. From here you can either:

1. Walk! Walk to K street and head West (go left), staying on the left hand side of the street. It is about a mile walk, 15 minutes or so.

2. Catch the Circulator: Walk to 24th and K Street and catch the Circulator going in the direction of Georgetown. Take it until the movie theater (right before Wisconsin Ave.). Get off and walk through Wisconsin, then past the Chadwicks and the parking garage and we are in the Waterfront center.

Memorial day: More than a Day Off

Part of our responsibility as parents is to take advantage of opportunities to help our children grow to become good people and good citizens; connected to family and society. Conversations on Memorial Day can help our children to that end.

Memorial Day and Remembering Those Who Have Passed Away

Memorial Day is a good day to think about people who children know that have passed away in the past year or before. Preschool children rarely understand the permanence of death and stories of relatives who have gone before them are just that--stories. But children enjoy stories and they can become interested in people who have something to do with them or people you care about. Older children understand that death is permanent and people are gone. They are beginning to understand the circle of life and that families go way back for generations before they were born. Memorial Day is a good day to bring out the old photo books and reminisce.

    Happy Memorial day!
