  • GardenWorks at Bright Horizons at Brighton

    All Hands on Deck!

Our center is lucky enough to have our own garden beds located on our outdoor playground. To prepare the beds for the season we invited our families and their friends to join us for our annual Garden Party! Everyone had a blast digging, planting and socializing.

Throughout the spring, summer and fall our garden beds are an integral part of the GardenWorks curriculum which facilitates a connection to the natural world. Children have the opportunity to learn:
    • Where food comes from
    • Environmental care and sustainability
    • The life cycle of a plant
    • Healthy eating and nourishment

    Celebrating Our Wonderful Staff

During the month of May, our center will be taking the time to really celebrate the wonderful employees we have here at the center.  We take a whole month to honor these stars because they give so much of their time, love, and kindness to help all of our children grow.

Here at Bright Horizons at Brighton, we base our teaching approach on our HEART principles: Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork.  We create an atmosphere of honesty and trust by openly communicating with one another.  We give explanations and value input from our co-workers.  We are problem solvers and are accountable for our actions.

Our employees exemplify these attributes and we are so excited to take extra, special time to celebrate each and every one of them during the month of May!

Through our Well Aware program and our Staying Healthy procedures, we set high expectations for creating healthy environments and also foster positive attitudes within children towards healthy living, physical activity, and nutrition.

We’re proud to provide programs parents can feel good about, and to be recognized as a model for other early education programs by the Partnership for a Healthier America and First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign.
