  • Week in Review

    Week of March 20, 2017

    March 20th – March 24th

Here's "What in the World Happened" this week at Bright Horizons at Spotswood:

    • This week our school introduced a new enrichment class! Our Little Mozart classes started Thursday, March 23rd for ages 2 and up. Please see the office if you are interested in enrolling!
    • Miss Kris and her preschool students went to the S.T.E.M. to mix two colors using a dropper to create a third color.
    • The toddlers visited the Art Studio to refine their fine motor skills by creating a classroom spring painting using red, orange, yellow paint.
    • Kindergarten worked with rulers to measure different items in centimeters and inches.
    • Miss Melisa & her preschool students made play dough in the Art Studio.
    • The Kindergarten Prep had an apple tasting and graphed their favorite apples.

Here are some reminders and things to look forward to for next week and beyond:

    • We will be hosting a Preschool Paint Party Tuesday, March 28th from 4:00-5:30pm. Come work with your preschooler to create an original canvas painting!
  • Celebrating 30 Years of Learning!

Bright Horizons is proud to celebrate 30 years as the early educator and partner of choice for families around the world.

We look forward to supporting the next generation of parents and children, and continue to cheer the big steps made by the early learners at all of our centers. Because the most exciting milestones are the ones we get to celebrate with parents and children every day.

Because parents need peace of mind

    Well Aware and Staying Healthy

Our center environment offers children a healthy and safe place to develop and learn. Through our Well Aware program and our Staying Healthy procedures, we set high expectations for creating healthy environments and also foster positive attitudes within children towards healthy living, physical activity, and nutrition.

We’re proud to provide programs parents can feel good about, and to be recognized as a model for other early education programs by the Partnership for a Healthier America and First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign.
