    about Bright Horizons Child Care

"Yilin has changed a lot in the 2 months. I was superised when he was keeping asking where is Karen when you are out of office and I was told how excited Yilin and other little ones saw you back to the classroom after almost 1 week. Your smile, your sweet hugs and kisses get rewarded!"

  • Purple Day!

    Love makes a family

On Friday, June 23rd we celebrated “Purple Day” with the children and families.  Our school created Purple Day to honor equal rights for all families and to celebrate families in the LGBTQ community specifically. Family is central to the life of every child and it is through family that children come to view themselves and others and find their place in the world. Each classroom read to the children a variety of books featuring a variety of LGBTQ families including families with two moms and two dads, but also highlighted various other family structures including but not limited to single parent families, step-families, and foster families. Families showed their support and participation of the day by dressing their children in purple. Purple day helped to spark conversations with the children about family structure and helped to communicate that despite what your family looks like or who makes up your family, it is love more than anything else that makes a family.
