Will my child be prepared for Kindergarten?

Yes! Each Bright Horizons center uses The World at Their Fingertips: Education for Bright Horizons, our specially-designed Curriculum that creates developmentally, culturally, and individually Appropriate learning environments in which your child can learn and prepare for academic success. The World at Their Fingertips is designed to teach children to think for themselves, solve problems, communicate, work with others and gain an increasing understanding of how the world works. Recent studies have shown that children who have attended Bright Horizons centers are extremely well-prepared for school.

What is the purpose of the registration form and fee?

Once you have decided to enroll your child in a Bright Horizons center, you will complete a registration form online and pay the applicable registration fee. The registration fee is used to cover the cost of adminstrative fees associated with the registration process. Upon receipt of the registration form, your family’s name will be placed on our wait list.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Apex, Cary, Raleigh, Holly Springs, Fuquay and all other surrounding areas in Wake County.

I heard your building was renovated.

Yes. Our building opened in 1997, so it was time for an update.  We freshened up with new paint, carpet, furniture, cubbies, cabinetry and all new classroom educational supplies.  We also added a new Art Studio, Growing Reader's Library, STEM lab and Smartboard.

What is your inclement weather policy?

In the event of inclement weather, Bright Horizons at Apex will make every effort to remain open to serve our families. If the center is forced to close during the day, we will contact each family. Please make sure we have your current emergency numbers. Families may call the center voicemail to hear any updates about the center opening or closing at 919-363-4556.

How do you incorporate Parent Partnerships?

Our center offers several opportunities for parent involvement as Bright Horizons places a high emphasis on parent partnerships. We offer virtual parent partnership meetings every month. We also encourage parents to join us at center events like Curriculum Night where parents can really learn about our curriculum and meet the teachers in the upcoming programs. We also hold other family events such as Triangle Truck Day & International Holiday Festival, Fall Festival, Parents Night Out, and more where families throughout the center can socialize and intermingle with all the families that make up Bright Horizons at Apex. 

Do you offer part-time schedules?

Yes, we offer two different part-time options to serve family's scheduling needs. We offer a 3 day (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) or 2 day a week schedule (Tuesday/Thursday). Part-time options are offered based on availability.

Is there a playground on-site?

Yes. The center has individual playgrounds for our infant, toddler, Early Preschool, Preschool, and Kindergarten Prep programs. Our beautiful playgrounds allow children to explore different levels, textures, and natural environments. We have recently added a loose parts section to our Preschool and Kindergarten Prep playgrounds.  

Does Bright Horizons offer discounts to military families?

Tuition assistance for eligible military families is available at participating Bright Horizons’ centers when on-base care is not available. You can find more information and a map of participating centers here
