Our Infant Program

An exceptional place for your baby to thrive

Our space is built for babies on the move: look for bright mirrors, warm rugs, sensory tables, great books, and baskets filled with soft, natural materials. There are musical instruments, toys for pretend play, safe equipment, and outdoor places to explore. You’ll have peace of mind knowing that our stringent safety, security, and cleanliness standards meet or exceed all state and local guidelines.

Even these youngest of children are encouraged to learn about their world through our individualized curriculum that invites exploration, celebrates each important milestone, and supports the transition from the sensory motor world of infancy to the increasingly social and self-directed world of toddlers.

What Parents are Saying

Our greatest advocates are also our closest friends.

"Thank you so much for all that you do for the children, families and staff. Bright Horizons has been a second home for our three daughters, and our family, for nearly 10 years now! The teachers have contributed tremendously to our daughters' growth and development, and the feeling of leaving your children with people they adore is incredibly comforting."

Where is Mr. Lion?

You Will Need:

A stuffed toy

Directions:

Lie on the bed or floor with your baby. Show your baby a stuffed toy and introduce it by saying its name: “Oh, here is Mr. Lion.” Hold Mr. Lion in your hand and have him talk with your baby. Then, hide the toy and to the tune of “Where is Thumbkin,” sing, “Where is Mr. Lion, where is Mr. Lion?” Make the stuffed toy reappear and sing, “Here I am, here I am.” Sing, “How are you today, sir? Very well, I thank you. Now run away, run away.” Repeat a few times.

Tip:

Incorporate this activity into one of your routines, like morning or bed time.
