Our Kindergarten Prep Program

Ensuring children are prepared to succeed in school and life.

Our Kindergarten Prep and Transitional-K children are physically and cognitively able to take on more challenges while still engaging in important foundational learning like friendship building and developing a strong self-concept. Our READY for SCHOOL program helps children reach his or her greatest potential in all areas including beginning reading and writing skills, math and science concepts, large and small muscle skills, and social and emotional development.

Our teachers stimulates each child’s innate curiosity and exploratory nature to prepare children for lifelong learning along with the skills needed to succeed in school and life.

What Parents are Saying

Our greatest advocates are also our closest friends.

"Deanna is an amazing teacher! She is very responsible, caring, and energetic. She truly seems to love her job and it shows when she is with the children. She is creative and bright. She works hard to give attention to all the children in a very busy classroom of 3-4 year olds. Thank you!"

Placemats

You Will Need:

11 x 14 paper, felt tip pens or paint, collage materials and photographs (optional)

Directions:

Have your child draw, paint, or make a collage on each paper (placemat). He might want to add photographs of each person. Help your child write each family member’s name on his/her placemat. Take the creations to be laminated at a local office store or cover with clear contact paper and use them at the dinner table.

Tip:

Make a few extra placemats for guests. Placemats also make wonderful gifts, especially if you write down the sentiments that your child dictates. If you’re making placemats with an infant, painted footprints work well.
