Turn right into our parking lot. Ring the bell at the gate and someone will let you in. From 101 Northbound from Montecito: Take the State St. off ramp and turn left. You will drive over the freeway and go down hill about 2 miles. You will pass under a train trestle, pass through 2 signals and on your left you will see 3, very tall palm trees by our driveway. Turn left into our parking lot. Ring the bell at the gate and someone will let you in.

Exploring Architecture and Construction

You Will Need:

Photographs, camera, paper, ruler, markers, other drawing supplies

Directions:

Have your child draw or take photographs of where she lives. Ask her to count the number of windows, doors, rooms, etc.

Tip:

Walk or drive around different neighborhoods, take photographs of different buildings and stores, and talk about the different architecture.
