Tell us a bit about yourself to get started
The USAA Tampa CDC celebrated it's 20th Anniversary. Many children and parents who had attended in the past visited to celebrate.

Our families were invited to join us for Family Style Dinner and an open
house. Parents had the opportunity to visit their child's current
classroom as well as meet the teacher and get insight into the curriculum
of their child's next classroom. On this evening we highlighted our
STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with a showcase of
our week-long exploration of "Wheels."
Highlights from each program as we begin 2016!
The children were allowed to dress up as a character from their favorite book. Many of the children carried the book that inspired their costume with them. Parents and teachers joined the children walking over to the main building to showcase their creativity. Parents unable to attend the full parade came down to join for a moment when they saw the children out the window which was wonderful!
Each class participated in the "foam party." They used their Science Rocks skills to investigate the properties and textures of the foam. Afterwards, they used their scoops and buckets exploring geometry concepts such as volume and measurement. When finished they dried off in the warm sun, to have a Sno Cone treat on their towels!
