    The Festival of Lights

During the month of December, Bright Horizons at WEP will be celebrating the Festival of Lights.  The festival focuses on the different winter holidays celebrated around the world such as: Divali, Hannukkah, Luciadagen, Sinter Klaus,  Las Posadas, Advent, Christmas, and Kwanzaa.   The children will be exploring cultural diversity and differences through music, foods, literature, and family traditions.

By learning about other cultures we also promote acceptance , a major component of our Caring Matters and Our World curriculums.
