  • Toward a Better World:

    Celebrating Diversity and Cultures

During the month of December, we will focus on Our World curriculum component by celebrating the Festival of Lights. We wil be learning and talking about the following winter holidays: Divali, Sinter Klaus, Luciadagen, Advent, Hannukkah, Christmas, Las Posadas, and Kwanzaa. This event will consist of different activities such as: multicultural music and dances, traditional foods, stories, and games. The objective of the Our World curriculum is to learn about the cultures of the world, develop strong sense of self, and to develop awareness, sensitivity, and the skills to promote peace and tolerance.

We, at Bright Horizons at WEP, wish you and your family a safe and wonderful winter holiday season.

Because parents need peace of mind

    Well Aware and Staying Healthy

Our center environment offers children a healthy and safe place to develop and learn. Through our Well Aware program and our Staying Healthy procedures, we set high expectations for creating healthy environments and also foster positive attitudes within children towards healthy living, physical activity, and nutrition.

We’re proud to provide programs parents can feel good about, and to be recognized as a model for other early education programs by the Partnership for a Healthier America and First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign.
