  • Growing Healthy Children: Farm to Early Education Experience

    8th National Farm to Cafeteria Conference

    Bright Horizons at the American Center is honored to be a host site for the National Farm to Cafeteria Pre-conference Field Trip experiences. On June 2nd, we will host conference attendees at our center to offer an interactive demonstration of a farm to early childhood education program in action.

    Attendees will explore our outdoor garden, indoor tower gardens, composting, healthy snack and lunch menu (including gluten-free and vegetarian options) that our on-site chef prepares fresh daily using produce and herbs from our gardens, local farmer's markets and Luna Farms CSA program. They will also participate in our children's cooking club to experience how we incorporate food to table programming at our child care and preschool center.

    We are now accepting enrollment in our Preschool & Kindergarten Prep programs (with limited spaces in Infant and Toddlers.) 

    Our robust curriculum includes::

    • Introduction to STEM education (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)
    • Rich hands-on learning which enhances each child's experience including a variety of enrichment programs
