The American Center offers a unique approach to nutrition and healthy lifestyles with a holistic approach and fully embraces a Farm to Table Menu. The approach started as a way to meet the needs of our diverse families and their interest in vegetarian alternative menus.
Our chef is passionate about providing healthy meals and teaching children about gardening and healthy food choices. At the center we have year round indoor gardening towers and seasonal outdoor gardening which provide food that is used for meals, snacks and cooking club projects.
Children participate in culinary arts/cooking club activities using the produce from their gardens.
