Here at Bright Horizons, we participate in NAECY's Week of
the Young Child Program. Our teachers provide child-based learning activities
that give the children the opportunity to learn about a greater sense of self,
community, family, and culture. This year, our curricula for the week long
program included the themes of: Music Monday, Taco Tuesday, Work Together
Wednesday, Artsy Thursday, and Family Friday.
In our Toddler program, the children loved helping each
other with their nap mats on Work Together Wednesday. Taco Tuesday was a hit
across the board, and the children were able make their own their own tacos for snack time!
The Preschoolers were so proud to share their family photos with the class! On Music Monday the Preschool classes were challenged by matching an instrument to it's sound. They also listened to music from different countries, and the children tried to find the beat and clap to it.
