  • Science and STEM Exploration

    Preschool and Kindergarten Prep Curriculum

Preschool and Kindergarten Prep spent a week exploring Science and STEM activities. They researched their experiments and BIG QUESTIONS through pictures, writings, and drawings. Then utilized the computers and smart board to help document their activities.

    Some of the activities included:
    • Celery and Flower dying: Using either food coloring or water color paints the children mixed colors and added celery or white carnations.  They observed the changes in the color of the celery and flowers over time.
    • Color Swirl: The children watched and recorded as they added food coloring and soap to milk and the colors swirled and mixed into new color creations.
    • Wizard Potion: Mixing vinegar, food coloring and glitter the children were asked what they thought would happen when baking soda was added and were shocked at the reaction they saw!
