  • What Somerville Parents are Saying

    about Bright Horizons Child Care

"We talk a lot about Miss Adeline at home. Our daughter said, "I love Addie." on the way home from school yesterday. When RoRo is being a little naughty at home (like standing on her chair last night) I like to ask her, "What would Adeline say?" And she'll say "Feet on da ground!" and she'll sit right down. If only Adeline could come home with us! :)"

  • Meet the Preschool Teachers at Davis Square!

Learn More about Thuy and Samara

Thuy has been with our center since our opening day and was very excited to help open our preschool room and Samara came on board in March of this year. Thuy has a bachelor's degree in Human Services and brings 8 years of experience to our classroom, while Samara earned a bachelor's degree in Trumpet Performance and comes to Davis Square with 6 years of early childhood experience.

Over the past 6 months, they have worked together to bring in many different curricular activities to the preschool classroom. Thuy for example speaks Vietnamese and the children love learning about different cultures from her! Samara spent timing living in Germany and has introduced the German language to our children. As a professionally trainer trumpet player she also shares her musical talents with the class.

    Well Aware and Staying Healthy

Our center environment offers children a healthy and safe place to develop and learn. Through our Well Aware program and our Staying Healthy procedures, we set high expectations for creating healthy environments and also foster positive attitudes within children towards healthy living, physical activity, and nutrition.
