  • STEM space

located at the end of the West Wing

The world is becoming increasingly complex, and individuals must have basic competencies in science, math, and technology in order to make sense of and process information.  In the Early Childhood Classroom, typically, activities planned with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) focus involving at least 2 of the 4 disciplines.  Bright Horizons embraces STEM Education in Preschool, Kindergarten Prep and sometimes even toddlers. Did you know when young children observe their natural surroundings, exercise their fine and gross motor skills or learn about healthy eating habits, they're discovering science.  Their days are filled with technology that can take the form of anything from a toothbrush to a smart phone.  With every pillow fort and block tower they build they are practicing engineering.
Many parents keep a treasured macaroni necklace tucked in a drawer, not even realizing their children were developing math skills as they counted out their beads and strung them in a pattern.
  • What Makes Us a Unique Place to Learn?

We're proud of our intergenerational partnership program with Ohio Health!

Every two months our Kindergarten Prep classes partner up with our senior friends at Ohio Health. Our Movement Matters Zone provides easy access for those needing wheel chair assistance or other assistance while we work on activities together. After our learning time, we all sit down together to enjoy a family style lunch.

Please let me know if you would like more information.
