Can I visit my child at the preschool anytime I'd like to?

Yes, Bright Horizons Newport Beach has an open door policy. You are encouraged to visit your child anytime.

Can I schedule a time to tour the center?

Yes! We are currently offering group tours on Tuesday's at 10:00am and Thursday's at 3:00pm. If these days/times do not work for you we are happy to scheudle a tour for anohter time that better suits your needs. 

What is the Bright Horizons Preschool Curriculum?

Our curriculum is uniquely designed to engage children in active learning that prepares them for school while helping them achieve their individual potential and fostering a spirit of community. It includes curriculum elements such as Literacy and Language Development, Math/Science Exploration, Art Projects, Enrichment Opportunities, Fine and Gross Motor Development, as well as Basic Skills.

Do you have enrichment opportunities?

We incorporate enrichment opportunities into our daily activities including cooking, gardening, STEM, dance and yoga.

Do you have flexible program options?

Yes!  We offer full time and part time schedule options in toddlers, young preschool, and preschool. Our part week schedule options are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or Tuesday and Thursday.

Do you have parking onsite?

The main entrance is in the rear of the building and we have a large parking lot for families to use.

Are you open year round?

We are open year round and have rolling admissions.

What are the teacher requirements?

Our teachers hold a Bachelor's Degree or above in Child Development or related field and are CPR and First Aid trained.

What is Bright Horizons' process on checking the background of their employees?

Bright Horizons conducts a comprehensive background check on all prospective employees and frequent visitors. The background check consists of a county criminal record check for the past seven years performed in all counties that a person has lived, worked or attended school. In addition to the county criminal search, a sex offender search, OFAC search and a social security verification trace are also conducted. For all location employees, program licensing background checks required by the state are also performed.
