What are your teacher's qualifications?

All of our teachers have a minimum certification of CDA (Child Development Associate), ECE (Early Childhood Education) degree, or Education or related Baccalaurate Degree. Associate Teachers possess either coursework or training and experience working with young children. In addition, all of our teachers undergo 40 hours of training mandated by the State of Florida, Bright Horizons' New Educator Orientation, and annual in-service training hours.  All of our staff members are CPR and First-aid certified as well. 

Are meals provided at the center?

Our center provides breakfast and afternoon snack. Lunch is provided by families Monday-Thursday and the center provides a Pizza Lunch each Friday.

Is there a playground on-site?

Our center has two main playgrounds. One playground is dedicated to our youngest children, infants through two-year-olds and the other is dedicated to children ages three and above.  We also have a basketball court and an outdoor Movement Matters area for activities like obtacle courses and yoga!  All of these playgrounds were designed with safety in mind and feature solid soft surfacing and Kompan play equipment.

Do you offer holiday care for school age children?

No. This location does not have a school-age program. 

Do you offer both full & part-time enrollment?

Yes!  The center is open from 7:00-6:00 and we offer full and partial day schedules as well as two and three day per week options. 

Do you offer after school programs?

No. At this time we do not offer an after-school program.  We do, however, offer holiday care and summer camp for school-aged children.  During school's out days and summer camp children enjoy all of our facilities and enrichments!

What age children do you serve?

Infants 6 weeks through PreK 5 year olds.  School Age Children ages 5 through 12. 

What kinds of programs do you offer for children?

Infant, Toddler & Two's classrooms for our youngest children ages 6 weeks through 36 months.  Preschool, PreKindergarten and VPK classrooms for 3 to 5 year olds.  School Age classroom for care during school's out days.  We also incoporate enrichments in to all of our programs like: sign-language, Spanish, yoga and mindfulness, music and movement, STEAM and more!

Does Bright Horizons at Hunter's Green offer a summer program?

Yes! Our center is open year-round and we offer a fun and enriching summer camp for children up to age 6. Our camp includes:

  • Action-packed program that’s both fun and educational
  • Age-appropriate, engaging investigative topics that incorporate children’s interests
  • Virtual field trips & special guests, Art Enrichments, Yoga and daily fitness activities in our gymnasium
  • Health, safety, and security policies that meet or exceed local, state, and national standards

Does Bright Horizons offer discounts to military families?

Tuition assistance for eligible military families is available at participating Bright Horizons’ centers when on-base care is not available. You can find more information and a map of participating centers here
