The center is expected to open late 2024, contingent upon receipt of an operating license from the state licensor.
The center will be open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It will remain open year-round; closing only on major holidays.
Registration is now open!. If you are interested in enrolling your child(ren), you will register with Bright Horizons through the Family Information Center and submit the $100 registration fee per family. Families will be contacted by a Bright Horizons representative mid-October to discuss pre-enrollment or waitlist status. Yes, the center will have a dedicated indoor movement room, outdoor splash pad and outdoor STEM classroom.
The monthly first year tuition rates listed below were established in alignment with comparable, high-quality child care centers in the surrounding area. Each year, Bright Horizons will conduct an extensive market study to determine the appropriate annual tuition rates.

The center will be located in the Intelliplex Certified Technology Park at 2400 Intelliplex Drive in Shelbyville, Indiana.

Tuition will be billed and collected monthly.
Tuition is paid through payroll deduction and is due on 25th day of the prior month. Example: September monthly tuition will be due on August 25.
The center will only offer full-time schedules.
The center has capacity for 192 children and will serve children ages 6 weeks through 6 years old.
Families will be required to provide notice of intent to withdraw 30 days in advance of the last day of attendance.
Bright Horizons curriculum, The World at Their Fingertips, is our unique curriculum designed to engage children in active learning that prepares them for school while helping them achieve their individual potential and fostering a spirit of community. All Bright Horizons staff are trained regularly in CPR, even if not required by the state. First Aid is taught as required by state licensing agency/regulations so that you can feel confident that your child is safe and receiving the best care possible at our center.
Bright Horizons conducts a comprehensive background check on all prospective employees and frequent visitors. The background check consists of a county criminal record check for the past seven years performed in all counties that a person has lived, worked or attended school. In addition to the county criminal search , a sex offender search, OFAC search and a social security verification trace are also conducted. For all location employees, program licensing background checks required by the state are also performed.
