What are the main reasons for low teacher turnover at our center?
At our center, we take pride in the established culture of Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork that fosters both teacher and leadership longevity. Our commitment to creating a nurturing environment not only benefits our children and families, but also empowers our dedicated staff. Bright Horizons stands out in the industry by offering exceptional benefits, including a comprehensive teacher degree program that enables employees to work full-time while pursuing a free education up to a Master’s degree, fully funded by the company. This commitment to professional development is complemented by competitive salaries, ensuring our teachers are among the highest paid in the field. All of these elements added together create a vibrant and stable community where educators thrive and contribute to a rich, collaborative center culture.
Does your center offer infant sign language?
Yes! At our center, we intentionally incorporate sign language into our Infant program and all other age groups to enhance communication and support early language development. Sign language offers infants, toddlers and all young children an effective means to express their needs and emotions before they develop verbal skills, reducing frustration and promoting a sense of security. Additionally, introducing sign language encourages inclusivity and supports children with diverse communication styles. By integrating sign in to our programs, we help nurture confident communicators and strengthen connections among all children and caregivers.
What are the benefits for incorporating intentional mixed-age groups within our age specific programs ?
At our center, we intentionally embrace mixed-age groups within our Infant, Toddler and Preschool programs to foster a rich, collaborative learning environment. Our age groups are as follows:
Infants – 6 weeks - 15 months
Toddlers – 15 months - 2.9 years
Preschool – 2.9 years – 4/5 years
Kindergarten Prep – 4/5 years – 6 years
This approach encourages children to learn from one another, promoting social skills, empathy, and leadership as they interact with peers of varying ages. Younger children benefit from the modeling and guidance of older children, while the older children reinforce their knowledge and develop confidence by teaching and supporting their younger peers. This dynamic promotes a sense of community and belonging, enriching the educational experience for all children and allowing them to thrive at their own pace. By nurturing these mixed-age interactions, we cultivate a holistic environment that supports developmental growth and lifelong learning.
Does your center provide lunches?
No. At our center, we prioritize the health and well-being of every child. By allowing families to pack their own lunches, we can accommodate individual dietary needs and preferences. This allows us to be sure that each child enjoys meals that are both nutritious and familiar. This practice also fosters healthy eating habits, as parents have the opportunity to teach their children about their individual families preference for a balanced nutrition and involve them in meal preparation. We pride ourselves in creating a nurturing environment that values personalized care and healthy choices for our little ones.
Can I tour the center?
Yes, you may tour the center at anytime, however we encourage you to call us to set-up a tour so that we can arrange to devote plenty of time to your tour and answer and questions you may have as thoroughly as possible.
