Does Bright Horizons at Democracy Center offer a summer program?
Yes! Our center is open year-round and we offer a fun and enriching summer camp experience which includes:
- Action-packed program that’s both fun and educational
- Age-appropriate, engaging investigative topics that incorporate children’s interests
- Virtual field trips & special guests, and daily fitness activities
- Health, safety, and security policies that meet or exceed local, state, and national standards

Where is Bright Horizons at Democracy Center?
Our new center is located in North Bethesda in the Democracy Center office park, near the Capitol Beltway and Interstate 270. Free 30 minute visitor parking is available in the designated visitor lot, but we will validate parking for visits longer than 30 minutes. You can enter our center from the exterior of the 6901 building in the office park.
Does this center offer child care for Infants?
Yes! Bright Horizons at Democracy center offers and Infant program for children ages 6 weeks to 12 months. Infant care has to do more than look right — it has to feel right. You want to know your child is safe and well cared for. Our infant program is designed to offer a secure place with knowledgeable teachers who honor your family’s routine, and who know every day that they’re not caring for any child, but the most important child — yours.
I'm already registered at another Bright Horizons location? Can I add Bright Horizons at Democracy Center to my registration?
Yes! You can be registered at three Bright Horizons locations for just one registration fee, so you can add Bright Horizons at Democracy Center to your registration. Just contact us at 877-624-4532 and let us know that you would like to add this center. If you're already registered at three Bright Horizons center you may reorder your center preferences.
Where can I park?
When arriving at the business park, there is a parking lot with designated Bright Horizons spaces to the right of the building. You will see our playgrounds just up the small hill next to our parking lot. There is no charge for parking for 30 minutes or less.
Does Bright Horizons offer discounts to military families?
Tuition assistance for eligible military families is available at participating Bright Horizons’ centers when on-base care is not available. You can find more information and a map of participating centers here.
