The Smucker Child Development Center

Welcome to Our Center

Welcome! Every day, we strive to encourage your child’s natural curiosity with enriching learning activities. Little scientists can experiment in the dedicated science space, and the Growing Readers nook is a cozy spot to curl up with a good book. The outdoor classrooms and gardening boxes take the learning outside with nature-based activities, and the dramatic play stages encourage creativity and imagination. Our Smart Boards foster an interest in computer science, and the age-specific Movement Matters Zones provide plenty of space for unstructured playtime and team-based exercises. Stop by for a tour to learn more!

Our Community

Our families come from nearby communities, and we serve many employees from The J.M. Smucker Corporate Campus and the Lofts — Corporate and Production. We're located in between these two companies, making us easy to get to for drop-off and pick-up.

Our Graduates

Children graduate Bright Horizons programs with the skills they need to succeed in private or public school. In surveys, kindergarten and first grade teachers report that Bright Horizons graduates are enthusiastic learners who are socially and academically ready for the years ahead.

Health & Safety

Your child’s health and safety are our top priority. Our centers have strict guidelines for cleanliness and security and we’re proud to be recognized as a health-and-wellness model for child care centers by the Partnership for a Healthier America.
